The BIG MUFF Pi reproduces a circuit that uses an op-amp from the late 70's, rather than a conventional transistor-based circuit, to create a rich, supple sustain distortion sound reminiscent of Billy Corgan's (The Smashing Pumpkins) playing. The TONE BYPASS switch is included.

The Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive has a TONE BYPASS switch that, when turned on (down), bypasses the TONE control (TON), and is designed to minimize the volume difference that bypassing the TONE control originally caused. The Fuzzsquatch Fuzzdrive is designed to minimize the difference in volume caused by bypassing the TONE control, allowing for a more profound sound without sacrificing volume.
