The Octonaut Hyperdrive is a drive pedal that recreates the magical sound and expressive dynamic response of the KLON Centaur through meticulous analysis and detailed engineering.

As a clean booster pedal to push an amp or other drive pedal without changing the tone character. As a crunch pedal to add slight distortion to give the sound more oomph. As an overdrive pedal with a wider gain range than the original to produce a smooth distortion sound with a wide range of sounds.

It features germanium diodes that have passed rigorous testing for optimal tone, a charge pump IC for more headroom, and a dual gain pot that cleverly blends the clipping stage with the clean stage. It also features a true/buffered bypass switch (internal DIP switch), which provides consistent performance with no ON/OFF volume difference when buffered bypass is used.
