Corey Wong is one of the hottest guitarists in the world today, with his outstanding groove and creative funk guitar, he has been actively collaborating with various artists and performing solo, and has been nominated for a Grammy Award.

In collaboration with Brian Wampler, CEO of Wampler, the Ego Compressor, Wampler's hit model that combines the natural, outstanding response and dynamic range that is the key to Corey Wong's guitar sound, is now equipped with a “BOOST function” and “XLR OUT jack” as requested by Corey. The Ego Compressor has a BOOST function and an XLR OUT jack, as requested by Corey Wong.
The “CORY WONG COMPRESSOR” has been newly tuned as a signature model.
The BOOST function allows for a flat frequency boost or a mid boost with added saturation by operating the BOOST knob and MIDS/FLAT switch.
The crisp and clear sound created in the COMPRESS/BOOST section can be directly input to a PA system or audio interface via the XLR OUT jack.

■Part Names and Functions
ATTACK : Adjusts the compression response. Clockwise rotation slows down the attack response, while counterclockwise rotation speeds up the attack response.
TONE: Allows you to adjust the tone.
SUSTAAIN: Allows you to adjust the length of the sustain.
VOLUME: Adjusts the output level.
BLEND: Allows you to adjust the mix of the original sound and the effect sound.
BOOST: Allows you to adjust the boost level. (Effective only when the BOOST switch is on.)
BOOST MODE SWITCH
FLAT: Flat frequency boost mode.
MIDS: Midrange boost mode with added saturation
COMP ON SWITCH: When the switch is turned on, the comp sound is always on.
GROUND LIFT SWITCH: Ground lift can be applied. (Only available when using the XLR OUT jack)
XLR OUT: Balanced out jack for connection to a PA, audio interface, etc.
FOOTSWITCH
COMPRESS: Turns comp sound on and off. LED lights green when on.
BOOST: Boost can be turned on or off. When on, the LED lights blue.
When both COMPRESS and BOOST are on, the LED turns light blue.
