FOSTEX HP-A3mk2 is a USB DAC that operates on USB bus power. It converts the PC's USB audio and optical digital audio signals into analog signals, which can be output from the line output terminal and headphone output terminal. You can connect the USB cable and use it immediately with simple settings.

■The DAC chip uses ESS Technology's ES9016K2M
Adopting a high quality DAC chip, the supported sampling frequency has been significantly increased from 24bit/96 kHz of HP-A3 to 32bit/192 kHz. You can enjoy higher quality sound without sacrificing ease of use.
*S/P DIF input is up to 96kz.

■Analog circuit that further improves sound quality
・The analog circuit has been newly designed to match the improved sampling frequency. Achieves performance comparable to higher-end products, such as improved THD (total harmonic distortion).

■ Added gain switch to support various playback sources
- Headphone output amplifier gain can be switched in two stages: HI/LO. The HI position increases the volume by 10 dB compared to the LO position. The HI position is effective for low-level input signals and can be used with a variety of playback sources.
