Morningstar FX / MC6 PRO

The MC6 PRO is a powerful MIDI foot controller with three color displays, multiple inputs and outputs, 128 banks of 6 presets divided into 4 pages, for over 3000 presets, each capable of sending up to 32 MIDI messages simultaneously.

The MIDI messages sent by the presets can be grouped by action (how the switch is pressed), and all settings, including this, can be made using the web editor.

The text, symbols and colours displayed on the MC6 PRO's highly visible colour LCD display can be set to your own preferences. By setting them to change depending on the preset status, you can get clear visual feedback when controlling the MC6 PRO.

In addition to the standard DIN ports, the MC6 PRO also has USB-C Device/Host, 3.5mm TRS, and Relay Switching ports, and it has up to four Omniports that can function as TRS MIDI outputs, AUX switches, and expression pedal inputs.

With these features, the MC6 PRO is a new generation MIDI controller that can meet any need. It provides more powerful MIDI control with a more comfortable feel.

■CONTROL ANYTHING WITH MIDI
MIDI control was previously used in large setups with rack equipment, DAWs and synthesizers, but it is now also widely used in devices such as compact guitar pedals, multi-effects and amp simulators . Using MIDI control, you can expand presets, recall them comfortably, and use direct control of parameters, etc., for a wide range of functions that greatly expand your range of expression.

In addition to standard PC (Program Change) and CC (Control Change) messages, the MC6 PRO can output a wide range of MIDI messages, including Note On/Off, MIDI Clock (preset or tap), SysEx, and MIDI message control using an expression pedal.

In addition, the MC6 PRO, with its various connection ports, can be used with a variety of systems, and can control other USB MIDI devices as well as MIDI control via expression pedal.

POWER OPTIONS - The MC6 PRO can be powered by a standard 9-12v DC power supply (centre negative), USB bus power, or MIDI phantom power.

CONNECTIVITY
5 PIN MIDI In/Out, 3.5mm TRS MIDI In/Out ? Receive MIDI messages to control the MC6 PRO, and send MIDI messages generated by the MC6 PRO.

Omniports - 1/4’ TRS MIDI output, MIDI message control with expression pedal, or as an external AUX switch. Each port can be assigned separately.


Relay Switching - Use the two relay ports to switch other devices. There are two systems, Tip to Ground / Ring to Ground.


USB Device/Host - The USB Device port can be used to connect to the web editor and send/receive MIDI messages to/from a PC or tablet. The USB Host port can be used to control other USB MIDI devices.


9VDC - A 9V DC power supply (centre minus) with a current capacity of at least 350mA is required. The MC6 PRO can also be powered via the USB port using USB bus power.
