The distinctive art design was inspired by the famous posters that adorned the walls of the Shrine Auditorium, a concert venue in Los Angeles in February 1968.

Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration has adapted a poster design by John Van Hamersveld, an artist who, like Jimi Hendrix, is a leading figure in pop culture and the hippie movement. Simon Berndt of One Horse Town Illustration arranged it specially for this pedal.

Fuzz mode gives you the aggressive, raucous sound of silicon transistors, while upper octave fuzz mode gives you the classic octave fuzz sound heard in tracks such as 'One Rainy Wish' and 'Purple Haze'.
