JAM PEDALS / Red Muck mk.2

The Red Muck mk.2 is a big muffler inspired by the “Triangle” muffler from 1971 and the “Red Army / Civil War” muffler that followed.

It boasts a wide range of saturation and various degrees of compression, and it is sustained when tapped.
The Boost footswitch is connected to a dedicated section of the circuit, supporting the thick walls of fuzz distortion.
When the Gain is set low, it functions as a High-Gain-Stage footswitch.

■CONTROLS
1. Right footswitch engages the Red Muck
2. The left footswitch engages the boost function
3. LEVEL controls the output level
4. TONE adjusts the Red Muck's tone
5. GAIN sets the gain level
6. Internal trimmer adjusts the boost's level
7. 2-way toggle-switch to select between symmetrical and asymmetrical “+” clipping modes
