The TRIPLE SHOT is like having three independent distortion pedals in one. The signal from your instrument is split into three different frequency bands (DARK, MEDIUM, LIGHT) and fed to each of the distortion circuits.

The Ashdown PRO FX 18V series is manufactured in the UK using only carefully selected components. All effects are designed to be powered from a linearly isolated 18V power supply to ensure the highest signal-to-noise ratio and lowest possible background noise. This is especially important for high-gain distortion pedals and pedal-style compressors.
All pedals are constructed with a sturdy steel housing and anodized aluminum front face. It uses a genuine Neutrik jack socket.
Each band has an independent level (ROAST) control, so you can emphasize the low end of your bass sound with a fat, beefy overdrive tone, enrich the top end with high-gain treble, or mix extremes to achieve a variety of sound qualities.

Setting all controls to the 12 o'clock position will give you a really nice driving bass sound that will cut above the mix in live ""alternative rock"" situations while preserving the bottom end of the original bass signal.

The rotary control on this pedal is very sensitive and small adjustments can make a big difference in the sound. As a result, it becomes possible to control the drive sound. Each distortion of TRIPLE SHOT works on signals below 160Hz for DARK (low range), 160-760Hz for MEDIUM (mid range), and 760Hz and above for LIGHT (treble range).
