Beat Making

THE KIT: Acoustic Drum Kit
Groove Agent now features a new acoustic drum kit. It includes a Pearl kick and snare, a Yamaha Maple Custom Tom, four Zildjian crashes, an Istanbul ride, and a Paiste splash. All were recorded at Teldex Studios in Berlin using high-end Neumann microphones, outboard gear, and a reverb chamber.
'The Kit' samples are high quality, with 47 articulations, 5 round robins, and up to 20 velocity levels. They have a great sound that will punch through in any mix.

■Over 30 Electro Kits
A collection of new kits from electro music artists such as Rawtekk, Audeka, zKlang, Joe Ford, and young producers. They include not only beat patterns but also bass and melody fragments, hits, and noise. In addition, in Ver. 5, you can use the Style Player in Beat Agent in the same way as in Acoustic Agent.

New styles for songwriters
The Kit has 20 new MIDI styles. It covers various genres, from rock, progressive rock, blues rock, alternative, indie, funk, crossover, and reggae, with various variations of intros, outros, fills, and fills. All of these styles have been performed by top drummers and mixed for The Kit.

Sound Design with Decompose
The dream of sound designers can come true. With Decompose, you can easily separate the "tone" and "noise" components of the loaded sample. Once the separation is complete, you can drag and drop each part onto a Groove Agent pad, and the possibilities are endless. For example, what kind of sound would you get if you mixed 909 noise with an 808 kick tone or if you mixed a raw hi-hat noise with an electro snare?

■Give your samples new life with pitch changes
Let's create exciting drum sounds by changing the pitch envelope of the sample. This is especially effective when creating EDM drops and build-ups or when you want to adjust the pitch of recorded drums. When combined with the Decompose function, you can modulate the pitch of the drum tone and noise components separately, allowing you to create drum sounds in a new way.
