The first in the "UVI PX Prototype Series" of software versions of instruments not normally distributed and rare vintage equipment, the UVI PX Prototype is based on a polyphonic analog synthesizer from the early 1970s. It combines an intuitive control screen with deep customization and has many ready-to-use presets.

Apollo", the synthesizer on which PX Apollo was based, was a prototype of POLYMOOG and was to be released together with Taurus (bass synth) and Lyra (solo synth), but this project was canceled. However, this project was dropped, and only the Taurus was released. UVI has restored the only two Apollos in existence, used them as sample oscillators, and added a sub-oscillator and a synth oscillator to create a 3-oscillator hybrid. The master sample is made from the highest quality equipment.

The master samples were recorded with the highest quality equipment, sampled from various angles, and given four round robins per note. The PXApollo SoundBanks thus comprise more than 4,000 samples, with more than 150 tone patches created by UVI's sound design team. We are proud to say that this collection is excellent and ready-to-use.

The user interface of the ◎PX Apollo inherits the design aesthetic of the actual instrument. The layout, which focuses on intuitiveness and operational efficiency, offers maximum flexibility, allowing for quick preset editing and deeper sound design. Full-featured synthesizer parameters include three oscillators, an envelope generator, a high-definition filter, pitch, and stereo controls, per-oscillator modulation, and an arpeggiator.
