One Control / Silver Bee OD 4K Mini

The One Control Silver Bee OD 4K Mini is a custom version of the legendary Honey Bee OD amp-like pedal, based on the legendary Honey Bee OD and custom-built by BJF himself.

The miniature size allows for installation on various pedalboards without taking up too much space.
Years of research by BJF himself have made it possible to reproduce the original tone even with mini-sized SMD parts.
Mini pedals are designed differently from conventional handmade pedals that use through-hole parts. Mini pedals are affected by "ghost components" that do not exist as "parts" and do not appear in the circuitry, so they sound different when built with the same schematic.
BJF has taken into account all influences, from the characteristics of the parts to the ghost components, to recreate the sound of the original BJFE pedal.
The result is a sound that BJF himself is completely satisfied with, which is why it is now available in a miniature size.
And we also used BJFE's style in the pedal design.
The Honey Bee OD's characteristic high response, which can be easily adjusted from clean to overdrive with the touch of a hand, and the reassuring tone that makes you feel as if a classic combo amp is proper in front of you, have been retained, but with an even brighter tone.

The tone created by the flat low end and the sharp, taut top end is reminiscent of the characteristics of an American combo amp.
The tone has a fat presence, yet it is sharp and forward. The even noble tone is flexible enough to be used with the gain set low and always on.
It has the same gain range as the Honey Bee OD, but it is also ideal for more modern rock and can be used with either single coils or humbuckers to create the tone of larger modern or reissue American amps.
The 2-band equalizer on the Silver Bee OD 4K Mini has a wide, controllable range, giving you a lot of control over the balance of tones.
The T knob controls the brightness, high-frequency component, and overtone component of the tone and can also be used to create beautiful metallic-sounding drive tones.
The B knob focuses on the low mids, allowing you to adjust the tone to match the characteristics of the stage, connected amp, and guitar.
High-response overdrive can sometimes be challenging to use, but the Silver Bee OD 4K Mini has a solid presence in the tone itself, creating a highly responsive yet easy-to-play sound. It combines the expressive power to freely control the tone at hand with sharpness and speed in strumming.
Below the output jack, there is a VINTAGE/MODERN switch. This is a switch that switches the overall sound, especially the low-frequency area.
Initially, this switch was used to switch between the current sound of the Honey Bee OD, on which the Silver Bee OD was based, and the early sound of the Silver Bee OD. It was based on the HBOD, but it was a switch to select the sound that would be produced if it were based on the early HBOD.
This is a very intuitive switch, and depending on the guitar or amp you use, you may find that it does not change the sound at all.
However, it can make the overall tone a little thicker or just a little cleaner.

● Controls
V: Adjusts the overall volume.
D: Adjusts the intensity of distortion.
T: Controls the tone, focusing on the high-frequency component.
B: Adjusts the tonal balance to match the characteristics of the amplifier, focusing on the low midrange.
MODERN/VINTAGE switch: This switch switches the headroom.
The upper side (MODERN) has a slightly thicker tone, while the lower side (VINTAGE) has a slightly cleaner tone. Depending on the amp/guitar combination, it may feel as if the sound is not discernible at all, but the switch is used for intuitive fine-tuning.
