Tina Guo vol.2 is a valuable expansion of the original Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato library, using the same unique seamless legato recording and programming techniques. The legato in vol.2 allows for more agile melodic passages and the addition of articulations such as spiccato, marcato, harmonics, sul ponticello, and vibrato pizzicato.
Combining vol.2 with the original library gives you the complete combination of Tina's solo acoustic cello. Tina Guo vol.2 was recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles.

■Articulation Introduction
・Attack Overlay
Applies a staccato attack to the rise of the sustain. Its volume is velocity dependent. It appears at higher velocities. The sustain attack is also affected by velocity.

・Legato
Records legato with a monophonic tone. If not selected, only polyphonic sustain samples are available. Legato transitions are velocity dependent.

・Infinite Bow
If not selected, includes Tina's natural bow changes for sustained notes. If selected, you can extend the bow length if necessary. If the same note requires a bow change, simply re-attack the note.

・Release Volume
Adjusts the volume of the release of the note. Setting it too high will sound like too much reverberation and decay. Setting it too low will make legato transitions sound unnatural.

-Legato Speed ​​(CC02)
Setting it higher will allow you to play faster. Setting it lower will allow you to play slower and make recorded legato transitions clearer.

-Modulation Wheel
The modulation wheel controls the overall dynamics.

Tina Guo
Tina Guo has had a multifaceted performing and recording career internationally as a classical acoustic cellist, heavy metal electric cellist, erhu player and composer. Her distinctive sound and improvisational style have been featured in major film, television and game scores. Taking her formal training at USC to new musical heights, Tina is constantly expanding her sound while enjoying experimenting with a wide range of effects and digital processors.

Tina is most distinguished by her live performances, and her numerous arena stage appearances have taken her to many countries around the world, including Denmark, Greece, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Spain, Italy, France, Japan, and the UK. She has also exhibited her talents at live and television events in film and games, including the Grammy Awards, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Sundance Film Festival, Tenerife Film Festival, Comic-Con, and League of Legends World Championships.
