Her Violin Legato library incorporates the same unique seamless recording and programming techniques as the Tina Guo Acoustic Cello Legato, Tina Guo vol 2, and CineStrings SOLO libraries. Legato allows for agile melodic passages, with additional articulations such as spiccato, marcato, tenuto, pizzicato, and open strings.
Articulations Introduction
Legato
Legato articulations feature the seamless Legato performance that all solo strings in Cinesamples have.
Need upward portamento? Play transitions with a velocity of 110 or higher. Short third-degree intervals above the octave provide upward portamento Legato transitions. With additional programming, Legato over an octave is also possible.
Note Shaping
A gentle attack can be added to notes with low velocity for a more dynamic performance.
Infinity Bow
When not selected, Taylor's natural bow changes are added to the sustained notes. When selected, the bow length can be extended as needed. If a bow change is needed on the same note, re-attack quickly.
Legato Speed
When AUTO is turned on, Legato Speed is automatically determined by the speed of your playing. You can also deselect AUTO and set Legato Speed manually. A higher setting will allow you to play faster, and a lower setting will allow you to play slower, making the recorded legato transition more apparent. This setting is saved with the patch.
Mod Wheel
The Mod Wheel controls general dynamics.
More articulations can be set by using the C1-F#1 key switch or selecting from the drop-down menu.

Various reverbs can be selected, including a custom reverb that Taylor is now available on YouTube.
Articulation Lock
Next to the articulation pull-down menu is the Articulation Lock function. When locked, the key switch is deleted, and all other articulations are erased from RAM.
