CineBrass Core Library is Cinesamples' orchestral brass sample library for Kontakt. Recorded at the legendary MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios in Los Angeles and mixed by veteran and legendary engineer Dennis Sands (Oz: the Great and Powerful, Argo, Avengers, Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, American Beauty). CineBrass Core covers the essence of the orchestral brass section and serves as the basis for our composition templates.

・Cinesamples Adaptive Legato Engine
CineBrass CORE v1.7 is powered by the Cinesamples Adaptive Legato Engine found in CineStrings SOLO, CineStrings CORE, CineWinds CORE and PRO and has been rebuilt from the ground up. It allows you to tailor the legato response to your playing style and is designed to respond musically to how you play. The engine detects how fast you are playing and intelligently adjusts the interval speed to match. This means you can play slow expressive lines and fast runs in one go without touching the speed dial. Additionally, the intensity parameter is velocity sensitive.

True Legato Patch
True legato means that we sampled every pitch jump across the entire range of each brass section, both above and below.
When you play a True Legato patch, it instantly analyzes the pitches you play and recreates the appropriate transitional jumps between notes. The result is smooth, realistic legato playing.
We did this in every section, at two dynamic levels, and also used dynamic morphing to blend seamlessly from piano to fortissimo.
An important feature of True Legato Patch is the polyphonic legato mode. In this mode, you can play two or more notes simultaneously, while maintaining the proper transition samples between all notes. This is especially effective when playing chords that need to connect realistically. These true legato patches are taken from the full articulation patches, which can be triggered by holding down the pedal.

・Articulations
All Articulations patches in CineBrass contain shorts of various lengths and dynamics, as well as sustains. We recorded multiple repetitions per note and multiple dynamics, as shown below.

・Sustains with smooth dynamic morphing

All mappings in Articulations Patches are dynamic, and you can choose from five intuitive presets in the user interface. For users who want to customize parameters other than the presets, we provide a custom mapping grid. All parameters and values ​​can be changed, and almost any combination is possible. Of course, if you are not very familiar with them, we recommend using one of the five preset mappings.
