Variations

TOD10N-TKF is Polyphia's Tim Henson signature model. The low string height setting and cutaway provide extreme playability.

FR shape hollow body incorporating side ports (w/fan bracing)
Based on the single-cut Ibanez original "FR" shape, this hollow body is approximately 50mm thick with fan bracing on the top (front face), which is standard on classical guitars. There is no sound hole on the front side of the body, but it incorporates a sound port on the player's side. This design allows the player to experience the natural nylon sound with a comfort that is not significantly different from that of an electric guitar.

46mm wide nut / 400mm R fingerboard
The width of the nut is between that of a standard classical guitar and an electric guitar, and the fingerboard has a 400mm radius, which is a specification that sets it apart from classical guitars for the smooth fingering of an electric guitar player like Tim.
In addition, this guitar, which opens up a new category of "nylon electric guitars," has a slightly lower string height (compared to most classical guitars) to allow for even a buzzing sound.

"Tree of Death" fingerboard inlay
The "Tree of Death" fretboard inlay is a unique feature of the TOD model that is a counterpart to the iconic Ibanez fretboard inlay and is Tim's brainchild.

Fishman Sonicore pickups & Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp w/onboard tuner
The pickups are Fishman Sonicore pickups, which amplify the acoustic sound.
The onboard tuner is an Ibanez AEQ-210TF preamp with a 2-band equalizer. (9V alkaline battery powered)

非常に良いエレガット

入手困難時期も過ぎて市場に出回ってきた上に価格もこなれてきて入手しやすくなってきました
godinエレガットが欲しかったが近年中古でも高く二の足を踏んでしまいます
ibanezのエレガットレギャラーモデルFRHを候補にしていたがこのインレイに惹かれてTOD10Nを入手しました
まずネック幅46mmが非常に良い感じエレキ幅じゃナイロン弦ではくっつき過ぎでかたや48mmのクラシックスタイルだと今度は広過ぎでピックをヒットする時にどうにもミスりがち
46mm幅は最高に弾きやすいそれと弦高も低めで良い
ネックも薄めでナットの広さは克服できます
生鳴りも何気にしっかりしてます低域は少し足りないがバランスは全域で良い感じでしょぼくない
Fishman Sonicore pickupが付いていてチューナーとbass/Trebleつまみに位相スイッチが付いていてトーンの効きも良い
同じFishman社のloud miniで出力しているがこのアンプ自体良いプリアンプが内蔵されているのでステージでも素敵です良いコンビです
サテン仕上げってチープなイメージがあるがうっすら木目を出しているところと指板インレイのゴージャスさがそのチープさを打ち消していると言える
平均よりちょい良い内容のエレガットにこのインレイのかっこよさ売れないわけがないでしょう
結構良心的な内容といえます入手してもまず損はしないでしょう
