KORG / Nu:tekt HD-S Assembly Kit

The HD-S is an effects pedal that combines three types of distortion circuits to create a swell of overtones that transcends the concept of mere "distortion.

Newly developed by Fumio Saegusa, the creator of the Univibe and many other legendary machines, this is a new type of effects pedal that is neither a regular "Fuzz" nor a "Distortion" pedal.
You can enjoy a wide range of sound creation by freely combining the three distortion circuits, from traditional fuzz pedals to crazy sounds and other uncharted territory.
It can be used for guitars, basses, and synthesizers.

Creating "swell" by combining three distortion circuits
By combining three distortion circuits, you can control aggressive distortion and filter-like changes. In addition to the four control knobs on the panel, the top cover of the chassis has three trimmer knobs. By adjusting the balance of the three distortion circuits with these trimmer knobs, you can enjoy a wide range of sound creation, from orthodox fuzz sounds to more intense sounds. It can be used with guitars, basses, synths, etc., and is a distortion effects pedal, unlike anything you have ever heard or used before.

One of the charms of the Nu: text series is that you can easily enjoy DIY fun by assembling it yourself; the HD-S requires no soldering and comes complete with tools, making it the fastest and most concise assembly kit in the Nu: text series. A portrait sticker featuring a portrait of the developer, Saegusa, is also included.
