The Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive is a practical overdrive pedal that combines a drive section and a boost section.

From Rev Amplification, a high-end amp and effect brand from Canada, comes the Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive, whose sound was supervised by Shawn Tubbs, a session guitarist who has been active at the forefront for over 30 years and is popular in North America for his recent reviews of numerous pedals and amps on his YouTube channel.

The Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive has the tone of his ideal single-channel vintage amp, and was developed with the aim of creating a guitar sound that sounds like it was recorded in high quality.

It combines two effects: a versatile, touch-sensitive overdrive section like a tube amp, and a tight boost section without any muddiness. In addition, it has a unique design that boosts the voltage to 18V internally and increases the headroom, so you can achieve a clear, balanced overdrive sound and a highly practical boost with just this one unit.

A typical booster will have a dull tone with a bloated low range as the level is increased, but the boost section of the Shawn Tubbs Tilt Overdrive not only adjusts the boost level, but also features a TILT EQ control that allows you to easily adjust the overall sound balance with one control, and a TIGHT switch that has a function to suppress the low frequency range calculated by a unique calculation, allowing you to obtain a clear boost sound that can be finely adjusted to the player's preference.

Since it has a wide range of settings, it is designed to be used by many guitarists without being limited to the instruments and amps used, such as bolt-on guitars with single coil pickups, set-neck guitars with thick humbuckers, low gain amps and high gain amps, and is an overdrive & booster that allows for a wide variety of sound making.

Although it is a double-switch effect with a sturdy metal housing, it is very lightweight at 379g, and the input and output terminals are concentrated on the back, so there is no extra space when using effects side by side.

The power supply is 9VDC and is only powered by the power supply (sold separately). It is a true bypass design that outputs the signal without passing through unnecessary circuits when the effect is off.
