Pro Tools | Carbon Pre 8-Channel Preamps Add I/O
Extend your Pro Tools | Carbon-equipped studio to up to 24 channels of microphone and line inputs. The acoustically superior Pro Tools | Carbon Pre delivers a 32-bit conversion that captures every sonic detail with 8-channel preamps featuring the same transparent preamp design and stacked ADCs as Carbon. The Carbon Expanded system utilizes the Pro Tools Hybrid Engine for low-latency input processing and remote control of the preamps via Pro Tools. Carbon Pre can expand or replace preamps in a Pro Tools | HD system.
Expand your studio
Bring in all your inputs for large tracking sessions or multi-mic live recording. Each Pro Tools | Carbon Pre has eight microphone/line preamps and eight line outputs, expanding your Pro Tools | Carbon-based studio to a total of up to 24 microphone/line inputs and 24 line outputs. 2 VariableZ instrument inputs, 8 x 8 line I/O, ADAT I/O, and Word Clock I/O add even more connectivity versatility. Speed up workflow
All preamp settings (phantom power, gain, impedance switching, etc.) for all interfaces connected to Pro Tools | Carbon can be controlled, saved, and recalled directly and remotely in Pro Tools. Control, save, and recall all preamp settings (phantom power, gain, impedance switching, etc.) directly and remotely in Pro Tools. In addition, sessions can be recalled instantly thanks to the Virtual Assistant, allowing for quick session switching without the delay of manual configuration or reconfiguration.
Expanded Workflow Capabilities
