Since its first appearance in 1959, the Wilshire has been one of Epiphone's most successful original solid-body electric guitar designs.
The newly released Wilshire P-90 brings back many of the specifications of the early Wilshire models: a symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with two PRO P-90 soapbar pickups, three sets of tuners on each side Kalamazoo headstock, Epiphone Deluxe tuning machine with Epiphone bikini badge and ivory knob on the headstock, and tortoiseshell pickguard cut in butterfly shape with foil E-logo on it.
Mahogany neck with a medium C-shape neck profile is joined by a 12 "R Indian laurel fingerboard, medium jumbo 22-fret fretboard, 2 volume/2 tone controls, Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, and stop bar tailpiece are incorporated.
