Since its first appearance in 1959, the Epiphone Coronet has been one of the most successful designs of the first original Epiphone solid-body electric guitars.
The Epiphone Coronet revived many of the specifications of the earliest Coronets.
It has a symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with a single PRO P-90 dogear pickup, a Kalamazoo headstock with three sets of tuners on each side, an Epiphone bikini badge on the headstock and ivory-colored knobs Tuning machines, and a white butterfly pickguard with a foil E logo.
The guitar has a mahogany neck joined with a medium C-shaped neck profile, a 12 "R Indian laurel fingerboard, medium jumbo frets at the 22nd fret, one volume/one tone control with CTS potentiometer, and an Epiphone Lightning bar compensated wraparound bridge.
