Since its introduction in 1959, the Epiphone Coronet has been one of Epiphone's most successful original solidbody electric guitar designs.
The Epiphone Coronet brings back many of the early Coronet specifications.
It has a symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with one PRO P-90 dog-ear pickup, a Kalamazoo headstock with triple tuners on each side, tuning machines with an Epiphone bikini badge and ivory knobs on the headstock, and a white butterfly pickguard with a foil E logo.
It has a mahogany neck with a medium C-shaped neck profile, a 12-inch radius Indian laurel fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, one volume/tone control with a CTS potentiometer, and an Epiphone Lightning Bar compensated wraparound bridge.
