The Custom Shop Blue Collar PTP is the most meticulous version, with components produced point-to-point (PTP). It works especially well with single coils and produces a fat midrange tone. One unit covers a wide gain range, from clean tones to beautifully smooth full gain with rich overtones and sustain. The tone is smooth, but there remains a complex resonance to it. In addition to the standard three controls, the Pres knob can control the picking attack. It is produced with the same construction as the earliest Menatone pedals but incorporates a compact-size chassis and top-mounted jacks, making it easier to fit into modern pedalboards.
