The Echo X is a unique effect pedal that combines a comfortable digital delay with real-time control, allowing you to fully enjoy the world that only Rainger FX can offer.

Equipped with a ""gate function"" that is probably the first in the world, it is possible to completely control the echo repeat with the input envelope. When the input stops, the repeat is immediately cut off, giving a unique feeling of being mysteriously chopped off. Opens the door to new play.

Includes the expression pad ""Igor"", which is familiar with Rainger FX. It brings a new dimension to performance, such as dynamic pitch change and modulation, instant feedback oscillation, and momentary activation of the Echo-X itself.

The freaky sensibility unique to Rainger FX is alive and well even in a compact delay pedal. The delay character of Echo-X is up to 540ms, and is an easy-to-use and familiar sound that is just halfway between high-fidelity and low-fidelity. A high-frequency roll-off that blurs with each repeat is applied, giving a sense of musicality. In addition, LVL, which sets the delay repeat volume, INPT, which sets the input volume, and VOL, which determines the overall volume, allow fine volume control in many situations. It's fun to set the INPT high and enjoy distorted delay repeats.

But these are just the beginning. The most notable feature is the ""gate function,"" which is a very exciting function that proposes a completely new method for delay performance. When the GATE switch is enabled, the delay feedback can be freely controlled by the envelope of the instrument input. No matter what the FBK setting is, if the input is removed, the repeats will be cut off. When combined with the gate, the circuit design that is prone to inducing oscillation can add inorganic chopping and double-like accents that are like sampling.

The gate setting may be confusing at first because it is such a new experience, but you will gradually notice the expression that follows the rhythm break and phrase. Haven't you found it painful that if you make a mistake with just one note in the delay, the mistake will be repeated forever? With Echo-X, it's not a problem at all. Because if the input is removed, the feedback will also be completely removed at that point!

In addition, the standard Rainer FX ""Igor"" expression pad is included, allowing real-time parameter control. By controlling the rate with the pressure-sensitive pad, you can freely produce modulation and pitch bend. It is also attractive to play with instantaneous oscillation with increased feedback and applying Echo-X only to specific phrases.
