One Control / MS MIDI Dual Stereo Loop

The One Control Minimal Series MIDI Dual Stereo Loop is a stereo effects loop two-loop switcher that is simple to use and essential for building complex guitar systems.

For creating complex and sophisticated sounds, the stereo loop, which allows simple manipulation of the system, can be used as a mono loop, or a mono signal can be converted to stereo (dual mono) and sent to a stereo effect.
By operating from MIDI instead of using footswitches, the system can be linked to and controlled by many devices simultaneously.
You can select from 1 to 8 MIDI channels to receive from MIDI CH and control the ON/OFF of two effect loops from MIDI PC# or CC#.
The Minimal Series MIDI Dual Stereo Loop has a PC mode and a CC mode, and you can select whether to operate it from MIDI PC# or MIDI CC#.
The inputs, outputs, and effect loop send and return jacks on the main unit all accept TRS stereo plugs and can be used as full stereo loops.
If a mono signal is output in mono and then turned into stereo by an effect connected to the effects loop, the outputs can output a stereo signal.
Of course, if you connect TS mono plug cables to all terminals, it can operate as a mono 2-loop that can be controlled via MIDI.
Since it can be divided into 8 MIDI channels, multiple Minimal Series MIDI Dual Stereo Loops installed in remote locations such as pedalboards or rack cases can be centrally managed from a MIDI controller.
In addition, since it operates ON/OFF via MIDI control, it can also operate as an additional effects loop in a switching system using a One Control Caiman Tail Loop or OC10 + Croc Eye.
It is a simple and small switcher that can be used in various ways depending on your ideas and can be used in more systems.

MIDI Signals
The MIDI signals received, and their operation is as follows
PC# 80: Set to PC mode. (factory default)
PC# 81: Set to CC mode.
PC# 90: When power is connected to the main unit, each loop's ON/OFF setting is reset. (Factory default)
PC# 91: When power is connected to the main unit, the ON/OFF setting of each loop is set to the last setting.
PC# 10: Bypasses loop 1; this signal is ignored in CC mode.
PC# 11: Turns on loop 1; this signal is ignored in CC mode.
PC# 20: Bypass loop 2; this signal is ignored in CC mode.
PC# 21: Turns on loop 2; this signal is ignored in CC mode.
PC# 30: Bypass both loops; this signal is ignored in CC mode.
PC# 31: Turns on both loops; this signal is ignored in CC mode.
CC# 102 / Value 10: Bypasses loop 1; this signal is ignored in PC mode.
CC# 102 / Value 11: Turns on loop 1; this signal is ignored in PC mode.
CC# 102 / Value 20: Bypass loop 2; this signal is ignored in PC mode.
CC# 102 / Value 21: Turns on loop 2; this signal is ignored in PC mode.
CC# 102 / Value 30: Bypasses both loops; this signal is ignored in PC mode.
CC# 102 / Value 31: Turns on both loops; this signal is ignored in PC mode.

L1/L2 Switch
The L1 and L2 switches select whether mono is changed to a stereo signal in Loop 1 and Loop 2, respectively.
These switches should be set to the up position when a stereo signal is an input and when a mono signal is used as mono.
Set these switches to the down position when you want to convert a mono signal to stereo.
For example, if you have a mono signal at the inputs, a mono effect in loop 1, and a stereo effect in loop 2, set only the L2 switch toward M>S.
If you have a mono signal at the input, and Loop 1 and Loop 2 are stereo effects, set only the L1 switch to the M>S side.
However, if the effect connected to Loop 1 is a mono input or stereo output, both switches will remain in the up position.
Also, if either of these switches is set to the M>S side, the output will be a stereo signal.
Never set both switches to the M>S side; the M>S switch is used in the case of loop 1 when the signal from the input is mono, and loop 1SEND is stereo.
In the case of loop 2, use it if loop 1RETURN is a mono signal and loop 2SEND is stereo.
In all other cases, set to the upper side.

● Controls
MIDI CH: Sets the MIDI channel to respond to, using a combination of the three DIP switch positions. The switches should be firm to the left or right and not be stopped midway through use.
L1 and L2 switches: Toggles between mono and stereo conversion for loop one or 2.
Bottom position: mono input → stereo send, return, output
Upper position: Stereo input → stereo send, return, output
