The One Control Iguana Tail Loop MKIII is a tremendous leap forward in pedalboard usability in an overwhelmingly compact package.
The Iguana Tail Loop MKIII does not take up any space on your pedalboard and does not waste the original space on your pedalboard.
In particular, the unit's depth is one of the smallest in the world at approximately 41 mm, making it a space saver. Since the switcher takes up little space on the board, it can be easily added to the existing setup.
Small size does not compromise functionality or operability. For example, it is possible to combine all the switching for effectors arranged in two tiers on the board in front of it and supply power to all five effectors and pedal tuners.
This switcher can handle power supply-related matters that take up a surprising amount of space with a single unit.
All jacks are placed low so that cables crawling on the board do not cover the effector itself, and the depth, which takes up a lot of space, is minimized while the width is sized for ease of operation. Despite this space-saving design, the space between the footswitches is a generous 52mm, based on research from many players, to reduce problems such as missteps.
Furthermore, it is ultra-lightweight, which is exceptional for a size switcher. It weighs about the same as a standard compact effects pedal, so it is not difficult to carry around.
Everything is designed for players who use effects pedals.
Also, by connecting multiple effectors to one loop, you can control all effectors in the loop at once with a single footswitch.
All switches on the Iguana Tail Loop MKIII are true bypass, so pedals that inevitably sound different when bypassed, such as vintage effects pedals, can also be used as a true bypass.
The Tail Loop MKIII incorporates a tuner out, allowing the tuner to be completely independent of the system. Power can be supplied to the tuner and the pedals in the loop.
Even when the tuner is not connected, the TUNER switch on the right side can be used as a mute switch, which is useful when switching between two guitars or when you do not want to play any notes during a song.
In addition, the BJF Buffer is equipped in the input section. The BJF Buffer can be turned on and off with the switch.
BJF Buffer
The BJF Buffer is an overwhelmingly natural buffer that overturns many people's image of buffers.
The BJF Buffer is designed to set the gain to 1 accurately.
The input impedance should not change the sound.
The output should not be too strong.
Noise should be kept to a minimum.
The sound should not deteriorate when overloaded.
The BJF Buffer has fulfilled all of BJF's requirements for a buffer and is now at the fingertips of many professionals worldwide, helping them with their guitar signals.
While many effects have a stronger effect when connected later, the buffer has more effect when connected earlier. This is why the BJF Buffer is built into the input section: turning on the BJF Buffer stabilizes the overall tone to a warmer, more natural tone.
