A fuzz/distortion pedal with a wide range of controls: 3 gain modes, dry blend, high and low active EQ, exp pedal controlled mid EQ, top boost, etc. This is a very flexible and well-balanced muff type pedal.

3 Gain Levels

Three years of research have shown that various muffs have different gain levels. We have selected the best three: TIGHT, VTG, and HEAVY.

TIGHT is a sound with low bass and very crisp harmonics.
VTG is an overdrive with all sorts of shades.
HEAVY is a heavy, sustained fuzz sound that condenses the essence of a muff, with bone-shaking lows and a solid midrange.

Adjust the gain with the DISRUPTION control and you'll understand.

Tone Adjustment
Tone adjustment has been one of the weaknesses of muff pedals up until now, and it was definitely something that needed to be improved. This unit has active low and high controls that can boost/cut up to 15dB. The mids are also equipped with a parametric EQ, allowing you to create any tone, from classic fuzz to modern mid-focused distortion and cooked wah sounds.

Expression pedal
Connect an expression pedal to foot control the mid frequencies. Now you can change the tone as you play, move it quickly to create a wah-like sound, or slowly to create a phaser-like, enveloping sound. You can also create a screaming synth-like sound by fine-tuning the Q of the mid EQ with the internal trim. You can also turn the mid EQ on and off by stepping on the MIDS switch. You can quickly turn the mids on for guitar solos and cutting.

Top boost switch
When the low mids are distorted too much, it can feel like the highs are lost. For times like this, there is a TOP BOOST switch. When turned on, it creates a crunchy, harmonically rich, sharp sound with emphasized highs. The volume level of the TOP BOOST can be adjusted with the internal trim.

Gain Control
DISRUPTION controls the gain. It was designed with special care to completely control even the slightest harmonic nuances. It can cover everything from light distortion, crunchy rhythm tones, singing lead sounds, and intense distortion that crushes your skull.

Blend dry sound
There's something you should know about gain. The higher the gain, the stronger the compression, so the sound is compressed and the outline of the sound is lost. Bassists, synth players, and guitarists who play a wide range, rest assured. We are hearing your voices. This unit has a function to blend a clean dry sound so that you can make the most of your precious original tone. You can also choose where to blend (before or after EQ). If you put it before EQ, you will get a cohesive sound, and if you put it after EQ, you can blend the dry sound without any effects.

Sufficient output
I felt that the original muffs and clones lacked output. This unit stacks the headroom phase so that the sound does not become loose even when the EQ is turned. This achieves a tight, punchy muff tone with sufficient output.

MASTER: Sets the overall volume.
DISRUPTION: Sets the amount of distortion.
CLEAN: Sets the volume of the dry sound.
VOICING:
TIGHT: A modern muff sound. Features tight lows, clear mids, and crisp highs.
VTG: Vintage muff sound. A balanced sound with distortion from low to mid.
HEAVY: A full-burst muff sound. There is enough gain and the lows are thick and heavy.
TOP BOOST
A switch to turn the boost on and off. It boosts the high mids, improving the sharpness of the attack and increasing the distortion of the highs. Sometimes it feels like the highs are lost when the mid-low range is distorted too much. This is effective in such situations.
BLEND: Sets the position where the dry sound is added. POST is after EQ, PRE is before EQ.
LOWS: Boosts or cuts the bass. (+/-15dB)
HIGHS: Boosts or cuts the treble. (+/-15dB)
MIDS CUT/BOOST: Boosts or cuts the mids. Turn right to boost, turn left to cut.
MID FREQ: Sets the frequency you want to cut/boost (100 Hz to 2 kHz).
