FLAME / Xpanmix

This is a polyphonic ENV&VCA equipped with four AD/AR type envelopes and VCA.

XPANMIX is a crossfader/panning mixer that can record/play back knob movements.

It can handle audio and CV, and the input voltage range is up to +-5V. It can crossfade/pan two signals, X1 and X2, simultaneously. Input external CV such as XFADE knob or LFO to CV-XFADE for crossfading, and input external CV such as PAN knob or LFO to CV-PAN for panning. Press the REC button on each track to record knob movements for more than 2 minutes each. You can play the recorded knob movements in one shot by pressing the PLAY button, or loop them by pressing and holding the PLAY button. The playback speed can be adjusted during playback.

In addition to the main channel, INPUT3 is routed directly to the output and mixed with the X1 and X2 channels. Using this input, you can directly mix other sources.

The inputs can be individually switched to +6dB audio level using the slide switch on the back of the module.

A RESET input is provided to reset the crossfade and panning playback positions.

Recorded knob movements can be permanently saved even when the power is turned off by inserting the included CR2032 button battery in the socket on the back of the unit.
