FLAME / Joyrec

This module stores and plays back CV changes corresponding to J stick movements for 60 seconds. The playback speed is variable.

JOYREC is a compact joystick module with recording capabilities. Joystick movements can be recorded and played back for up to 1 minute and stored in battery-backed RAM. The playback speed of joystick movements can be controlled by moving the joystick while playing.

In addition to the X/Y outputs, an additional CV/GATE output is provided. GATE When the joystick is moved outwards from the center position, a GATE signal is output from the GATE output, and at the same time the sum of X and Y voltage is output from the MOVE-CV output. The GATE/START input is used for resetting or sync recording. It also has a FREEZE function that holds the current joystick position, and an external reset input.

The voltage range of the X/Y outputs is 0V to 10V for unipolar (single + direction) and +/-5V for bipolar (both +/- directions). Both channels X and Y have passive attenuator knobs so that the output voltage range can be adjusted below the maximum.
