The Epiphone Prophecy SG was developed with today's progressive guitarist in mind, building on the classic SG™ design with added high-performance features.

The mahogany body is topped with a 1/2" thick maple cap and beautiful AAA flame maple with a slightly aged vintage gloss finish.
The SlimTaper asymmetrical mahogany neck features a 24-fret (jumbo fret) ebony fingerboard, block and triangle Pearloid/Avalon inlays selected to match the body color, matte nickel Grover locking Rotomatic tuners, and a black Graph Tech NuBone nut.
The Epiphone Prophecy SG incorporates matte nickel parts and two proprietary Fishman Fluence Prophecy pickups with three selectable Push/Pull master volume and tone controls. Three selectable voicing options are available via the Push/Pull master volume and tone controls.
High-gain, modern active high-output humbucker (when both controls are pushed), classic PAF-style humbucker when the tone control is pulled, and hum-free, California-style slightly When the volume control is pulled, a hum-free, slightly overwound California-style single-coil tone can be obtained.
