The long friendship between Epiphone and Les Paul (a great guitarist, musician, and inventor!!) dates back to 1940.
The young Les Paul worked night after night at the Epiphone workshop in Manhattan, creating ""the Log,"" one of the world's first solid-body electric guitars.
The results of ""the Log"" were later reflected in the development and birth of the Les Paul model, which is still coveted by many guitar players today as the best electric guitar.
