The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s is a staple of the Epiphone “Inspired by Gibson” collection. [LF] It beautifully recreates the feel and tone of a 1950s Les Paul.

The long friendship between Epiphone and Les Paul (a great guitarist, musician and inventor!) dates back to 1940.
The young Les Paul worked night after night at the Epiphone workshop in Manhattan, creating ""the Log,"" one of the world's first solid-body electric guitars. The results of ""the Log"" were later reflected in the development and birth of the Les Paul model, which is still coveted by many guitar players today as the best electric guitar.

The Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s boasts a full range of specifications, including a gloss-finished mahogany body with a maple top (AAA-grade flame maple veneer for the figured top model), a 50s-shaped mahogany neck with a long neck tenon joint, an Indian laurel fingerboard with classic dish inlays, newly developed vintage deluxe tuners, the well-known Epiphone ProBucker? humbuckers, and gold top hat knobs with dial pointers.

Available in three colors: metallic gold, vintage sunburst, and heritage cherry sunburst.

In addition, the appeal is further enhanced by the carefully selected specifications, such as the Kalamazoo headstock, rolled neck for comfortable playability, GraphTechR NuBone? nut, CTS pots, and wiring that follows the manufacturing method of the past.
