LORE is a pedal that has 5 programs, each with a different combination of delay and reverb, creating a distorted space-time. Equipped with two independent DSP chips, it creates sounds like a vast adventure story using reverse, time stretch and pitch shift.
①Analog Feedback Paths
LORE features two analog feedback paths, allowing each program to combine affected and unaffected feedback.
The two feedback paths interact and build organically on each other to produce different sounds and behaviors.
②Programs
LORE consists of 5 reverse reverb and reverb combination programs.
I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Reverb
A program that organically combines reverse delay and reverse reverb with each feedback path.
Create space and ambience by inverting, anti-inverting and even inverting the signal in a feedback network.
Controls how much the delay trail is inverted, with minimal inversion when the X knob is turned all the way left, and full inversion when turned all the way to the right.
It's the perfect program to enjoy spooky and gigantic minor chords.
II. Reverse Delay into Octave Up Reverb
A "light reverb" that combines octave-up harmonic feedback with a vast reverb tank to create breathtakingly vast ambiences.
Use the regen knob to add a playful "glitter" to your reverb decay. You can increase the reverb attenuation value with the X knob.
This program is especially effective for playing delicate fingerpicking.
III.Reverse Delay into Octave Down Reverb
A thick, rich, muddy "dark reverb" that combines harmonic distortion with harmonic feedback an octave down.
Use the regen knob to blend an octave lower sound into the reverb decay. You can increase the reverb attenuation value with the X knob.
Add high-gain distortion and fuzz to enjoy sounds that transcend time and space.
IV. Reverse Reverb into Forward Reverb
A dual reverb program featuring a forward reverb within a reverse reverb.
Two harmonic feedback paths control the upper and lower octaves, and time stretch controls the character and size of the space.
The feedback knob adds an octave below the reverse reverb, and the regen knob adds an octave above the decay of the reverse reverb.
With the X knob you can control the attenuation of the forward reverb.
For spatial manipulation, mix dynamic picking with ethereal drones and plenty of pads.
V. Pitch Delay into Pitch Delay
Two competing pitch-shifted delays create complex harmonic patterns in feedback.
It acts like a sequencer or harmonizer depending on the delay time value.
Using the X knob, the 4ths, 5ths and octaves of the pitch-shifted delay alternate as the delay progresses.
Try to create interesting rhythm parts with short staccato notes.
Momentary Features
Holding down the Dive/Rise tap tempo switch will shift the pedal's clock rate up or down and hold it at that rate for as long as you hold it down.
You can change the direction of the dive by pressing bypass and tap at the same time.
A green LED indicates Rise and a blue LED indicates Dive.
Modulation
Controls the modulation value.
Hold bypass and adjust the modulation rate with the knob.
The bypass LED flashes when the modulation rate is active, so when you reach the desired setting, release the bypass switch to save the setting to the pedal.
