LORE is a pedal that creates a distorted time space with five programs, each with a different combination of delay and reverb. Equipped with two independent DSP chips, it creates a sound like a vast adventure story, making full use of reverse, time stretching, and pitch shifting.
①Analog Feedback Paths
LORE features two analog feedback paths, allowing you to combine affected and unaffected feedback for each program.
The two feedback paths interact and build organically on each other, creating a variety of sounds and behaviors.
②Programs
LORE consists of five reverse reverb and reverb combination programs.
I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Reverb
This program organically combines reverse delay and reverse reverb with their respective feedback paths.
The signal is inverted, counter-inverted, and further inverted in the feedback network to create space and ambience.
The X knob controls how much the delay trail is inverted, with minimum inversion at the left and full inversion at the right.
This program is perfect for enjoying eerie, giant minor chords.
II. Reverse Delay into Octave Up Reverb
This ""light reverb"" combines octave-up harmonic feedback with a vast reverb tank to create a breathtakingly vast ambience.
Use the regen knob to add a playful ""sparkle"" to the reverb decay. The X knob increases the reverb decay value.
This program is particularly effective for delicate fingerpicking playing.
III. Reverse Delay into Octave Down Reverb
This is a thick, rich, and very muddy ""dark reverb"" that combines harmonic distortion and sub-octave harmonic feedback.
The regen knob allows you to mix the sub-octave into the reverb decay. The X knob increases the reverb decay value.
Add high-gain distortion or fuzz to create sounds that transcend time and space.
IV. Reverse Reverb into Forward Reverb
This dual reverb program features a forward reverb within a reverse reverb.
Two harmonic feedback paths control the upper and lower octaves, while time stretch controls the character and size of the space.
The feedback knob adds a lower octave to the reverse reverb, and the regen knob adds an upper octave to the reverse reverb decay.
The X knob controls the forward reverb decay.
For spatial manipulation, try mixing dynamic picking with plenty of ethereal drones and pads.
V. Pitch Delay into Pitch Delay
Two competing pitch-shifted delays create complex harmonic patterns in the feedback.
Depending on the delay time value, it acts like a sequencer or harmonizer.
The X knob allows the pitch-shifted delay to alternate between fourths, fifths and octaves as the delay progresses.
Try short staccato notes to create interesting rhythm parts.
Momentary Features
Press and hold the Dive / Rise Tap Tempo switch to shift the pedal's clock rate up or down and hold it at that rate for as long as you hold it down.
Press Bypass and Tap at the same time to change the dive direction.
The green LED indicates that Rise is set, and the blue LED indicates that Dive is set.
Modulation
Controls the modulation value.
Press and hold bypass while adjusting the modulation rate with the knob.
When the modulation rate is enabled, the bypass LED flashes, so when you reach the desired setting, release the bypass switch and save the setting to the pedal.
