Rev Amplification, a high-end amp and effect brand from Canada, has released the G4 distortion pedal.
The G series drive pedals were developed with the aim of creating an overdrive pedal with a high-quality tone that sounds like one of the channels of the company's boutique amps.
The G4 pedal is based on a bold distortion sound like a modern high-gain tube amp.
In addition, by operating the aggression switch located in the center, you can switch between three drive styles, BLUE/OFF/RED, and change the nuances of the tone.
The names and functions of the controls are intuitive and easy to understand, with five controls: bass, middle, treble, volume, and gain.
Depending on the settings of the drive switch and each control, this distortion pedal allows for a wide variety of sound making.
It weighs less than 300g and is made of a durable metal case, and the input and output terminals are concentrated on the back, so it doesn't take up any extra space when using effects side by side.
In addition, it is designed to be extremely compatible with both analog devices such as amplifiers and digital interfaces.
The power supply is 9VDC and can only be powered by a power supply (sold separately).
