Rev Amplification, a high-end Canadian amplifier and effects brand, has released the G3 overdrive/distortion pedal.
The development of the G series drive pedal began with the goal of creating an overdrive pedal with a quality tone that was like a channel from one of the company's boutique amps.

The G3 pedal has a tight overdrive that can make sounds like hard rock in the late 70's and 80's, to deep distortion sounds like high gain amps in the late 90's.
Furthermore, by operating the Aggression switch located in the center, you can switch between the three driving styles of BLUE/OFF/RED, and change the nuance of the tone.
The controls are intuitively easy to understand by name and function, and there are five controls: bass, middle, treble, volume, and gain.
Depending on the settings of the drive switch and each control, it is an overdrive that can create a variety of sounds.

Weighing less than 300g, it is extremely lightweight, yet uses a durable metal housing, and the input and output terminals are concentrated on the back, so there is no extra space when using effects side by side.
In addition, the connection destination is designed to be very compatible with both analog devices such as amplifiers and digital interfaces.
The power supply is 9VDC, and it is powered only by the power supply (sold separately).
It is a true bypass design that outputs the signal without passing through unnecessary circuits when the effect is off.
