The Canadian high-end amp and effect brand Rev Amplification has released the G2 overdrive pedal.
The G series overdrive pedals were developed with the aim of creating an overdrive pedal with a high-quality tone that sounds like one of the channels of the company's boutique amps.
The G2 pedal is based on an overdrive sound that can be used in a wide range of situations, from classic rock crunch to a wide range of sounds, and can also be used as a booster.
In addition, by operating the drive switch located in the center, you can switch between three drive styles, BLUE/OFF/RED, and change the nuances of the tone.
The names and functions of the controls are intuitively easy to understand, with five controls: bass, middle, treble, volume, and gain.
Depending on the settings of the drive switch and each control, this overdrive pedal allows for a wide variety of sound making.
It weighs less than 300g, but is made of a sturdy metal case, and the input and output terminals are concentrated on the back, so it doesn't take up any extra space when using effects side by side.
In addition, it is designed to be extremely compatible with both analog devices such as amplifiers and digital interfaces.
The power supply is 9VDC and can only be powered by a power supply (sold separately).
It has a true bypass design that outputs the signal without passing through unnecessary circuits when the effect is off.
