The OB-X8 is an 8-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that brings the legendary OB sound back to modern times. It combines three different voice architectures, the OB-X, OB-Xa, and OB-8, which are legendary synthesizers that symbolize Oberheim's 1980s, into one instrument to produce the ""true Oberheim sound.""

Includes a full set of factory sounds from OB-X, OB-SX, OB-Xa, and OB-8. You can immediately play the ""sound"" that everyone has heard. In addition, additional functions such as the SEM filter mode and a combination of different voice architectures allow you to achieve sounds that were not possible with the original OB.

In 2022, the new Oberheim OB-X8, which has been released after many years, will write a new page in the history of synthesizers.

比類無き心地良さ

弾いて夢中になれるシンセで心地良い音色に鍵盤も非常に良い
モジュールよりも鍵盤付きがお勧めです

ただし決して万能では無く出ない音は出ない不器用な楽器
そう単なる色々な音の出る機械では無く楽器としてOB-X8特有の魅力溢れる音で満たされます
過去のOBシリーズの代用なんて所は極一部の機能に過ぎずOB-X8は新しい本物のOberheim
多彩な音とは言えないが各フィルターやエンベロープカーブの組み合わせにより微妙なニュアンス違いの使える音達が溢れ出ます

左手前に纏まったコントロール系も絶妙に使える配置
通常のLFOとは別にこの位置にビブラート用のLFOが有るのは感動ものです

ビンテージ・ノブも目一杯効かせてもProphetのように　わざとらしく音痴になる事も無くフィルターの効き具合などにバラつきが出る使える機能で良い

少し触った程度では良さが分かりにくい所ですが最高の楽器の1つ。
