The TUSQ XL series maintains correct tuning for longer than any nut made of synthetic resin such as graphite or plastic. It also produces a crystal clear tone, which results in improved sustain. The fact that TUSQ XL is used by guitar manufacturers around the world is proof of its high reliability.
When the strings vibrate, TUSQ XL releases micro molecules of Teflon. Covered by these molecules, TUSQ XL minimizes string friction and reduces tuning errors. And because these Teflon molecules are released from the nut, they never disappear and are always effective as a lubricant.
