SSL Bus Compressor is an analog processor that symbolizes SSL. From the SSL 4000 B console released in 1976 to the present, the Bus Compressor has always been the key to the console center section for several generations.

For many top engineers and producers, the SSL Bus Compressor continues to be the most reliable processing tool to add drive and energy to songs with a unique groove and punchy sound, making mixes more complete.

The BUS+ is a new processor that is faithful to the original SSL Bus Compressor circuit at the core of its design, but adds some unique sound colors and advanced processing tools to this foundation.

It is possible to achieve a clean and punchy sound like the large console 9000 series equipped with a SuperAnalogue circuit, or an aggressive sound like the 4000E, which is synonymous with the early SSL console.

THE BUS+'s circuit design uses high-grade components such as the 2181 THAT VCA in the audio path to achieve excellent analog performance, but also allows you to combine four operating modes and four different compression colors to perfectly achieve the sound you want, making it a very flexible processor.

In addition, THE BUS+ is equipped with a dynamic equalizer, making it a versatile and flexible analog sound tool that can handle a wide range of applications and sound sources, including stereo sources, 2-mix, as well as vocals, bass, and narration at a high level.

-Uses high-performance 2181 THAT VCA
-Four modes: classic stereo, S/C summing (LR summing), stereo, dual mono, and mid-side
-Added settings not available in previous SSL Bus Compressors, such as release ""Auto 2"" and negative ratio settings. More flexible sound shaping possible
-In addition to the normal SSL Bus Compressor sound, it is equipped with three more sound colors. 4K mode adds harmonic distortion to give the sound a thicker, more comfortable distortion, LOW THD mode reduces low-frequency distortion and achieves a clean bottom end, F/B mode changes the compression characteristics to achieve a more relaxed compression style, and four sound colors to suit any source

-Digital control is used to achieve excellent performance even in tasks that require precision
