The DK3XR HSS features a poplar body with a shredder-cut heel for quick access to the upper frets, a satin back finish for smooth playing feel, scarf joints to reduce playing fatigue, and a bolt-on maple neck with graphite reinforcement for added stability in changing weather and environments.

The 12""-16"" compound radius Laurel fingerboard with rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets and inverted pearloid shark fin inlays is the ideal platform for heavy chord work and fast solos.

The DK3XR is HSS configured and features a hand-selected power trio of Jackson pickups. The Jackson high-output humbucking pickups are meticulously voiced for full, rich tone with maximum overdrive and sustain, while the Jackson single-coil middle and neck pickups deliver traditional Strat sounds. The 5-way blade switch and single volume and tone controls let you explore this instrument's sound palette and dive bomb at will with the reliable tuning stability of the Jackson-branded Floyd Rose & Licensed Double Locking Tremolo Bridge System.
