Reminiscent of the early 90s when JacksonR imported guitars were manufactured exclusively in Japan, the all-new Jackson MJ Series is an exciting and innovative collection of instruments carefully crafted in Japan. The MJ Series combines Jackson’s world-renowned heritage of high-performance instrument design with a selection of top-level features at a competitive price point. The MJ Series Dinky? DKRP features an ergonomically designed mahogany body with a poplar burl top and a shredder-cut heel for easier access to the treble. The attractive maple/walnut/maple 5-piece neck is bolted to a graphite-reinforced body for ultimate stability against weather warping, and the back is oiled for smooth playability. The 12""-16"" compound radius ebony fingerboard with rolled edges, 24 jumbo frets, and pearloid shark fin inlays is designed for technical light-speed playing in the upper register and comfortable chord work close to the nut. It also features a heel-mounted truss rod wheel for easy neck relief adjustment. The DiMarzio Super Distortion DP100 and DiMarzio PAF Pro DP151 pickups are a high-output combo that delivers the perfect balance of power and tone. The standard for overdriving tube amps, the Super Distortion humbucking bridge pickup enhances your tone with rich, thumping mids, big lows, and fat highs, while the PAF The Pro neck humbucking pickup maintains its PAF-style presence even when used with high-gain amplifiers, punching with snappy lows, spiked mids and crisp highs. A versatile 5-way pickup blade switch and single volume and tone controls let you tap into the power of your sound. Plus, it's loaded with premium features like the Gotoh® GE1996T Series double locking tremolo bridge system, Gotoh sealed die-cast tuners and Dunlop® dual locking strap buttons. The MJ Series Dinky® DKRP is finished in Transparent Blue Burst with a color-matched reverse-pointy headstock, white body and headstock binding and black hardware.
