iBasso Audio's flagship audio player, the DX240, is a top-of-the-line model that surpasses the performance of previous products of the same class design.

■Equipped with flagship DAC, ES9038Pro ・"ES9038Pro" is the flagship DAC chip from ESS Technology, a US company famous for manufacturing IC chips for audio applications. With excellent specs such as "Dynamic range: 132dB" and "THD+N: -122", it is used in many high-end stationary DACs. The richness of information and low distortion of audio equipment that uses this chip are widely known among audiophiles, and this chip has also earned high praise as the "core" that produces the sound. ES9038Pro has four DACs per channel, for a total of 32. ■FPGA-Master Technology ・DX240 uses iBasso's digital audio system, "FPGA-Master", established with DX300. With regard to audio processing, this FPGA mainly acts as an SoC that performs various processes in parallel, and has the effect of making decoding and signal transmission more stable. In addition, the master clock is generated using two NDK Femto Clock crystal oscillators. This SoC is also highly power efficient, allowing the DX240 to play continuously for up to 11 hours. ■ Equipped with AMP1-MK3 as standard ・The DX240, like several iBasso players released so far, is designed to allow users to freely replace the amplifier circuit. The product package comes standard with the "AMP1-MK3" amplifier card, which has three output systems: [3.5mm single-ended], [3.5mm line out], and [2.5mm balanced], and is capable of outputting up to 878mW at 32Ω load.
