■Guitar Effects ■Reverb With four reverb effects, this product's control operation is extremely simple. Expression control, changes, saves, and recalls can be easily performed, including access to secondary parameters. In addition, the two foot switches allow access to four functions: effect on/off, preset A/B switching, TAP input, and ramping control. All settings and changes are clearly displayed with LCD and LED, and despite its compact body, it boasts immediate usability for players of any level. Just add one SKYLAR to your pedal board and you can get a high-quality, versatile reverb sound that is recognized by players around the world. -Two presets that can be switched with a foot switch -Four types of reverb algorithms -Mono / Stereo input and output -Expression and tap tempo input -Momentary recall and ramping function -Buffered bypass ■Main functions □Input and output Skylar can be used with either mono input and output or stereo input and output. Use a TS cable for mono input and output, and a TRS cable for stereo. If the inputs to the Skyler are separate for L & R, use a 2 x TS → TRS splitter cable. □External control Expression control with up to 3 x primary knobs assignable, tap tempo input, and two pedal connections are possible. Either an expression or tap pedal can be connected to the EXP/TAP input. -RAMP function When in effect, press and hold the ENGAGE/RAMP switch for 500msec and the mapped parameter (same setting value as EXP mapping) will move (ramping) from the initial setting (Heel) to the final setting (Toe) while it is pressed and held. It will return to the initial value when the footswitch is released. The LCD will display a graph of the mapped control (PARAM=P) and the ramping state. - Momentary Recall When in bypass, press and hold the ENGAGE/RAMP switch for 500msec to turn the effect on momentarily while it is pressed, and return to bypass when released. ■Effect Algorithm □SPATIUM This is GFI's signature reverb algorithm. Its wide decay range produces a dense and expansive ambient sound without losing any individual notes. Control Parameters (Primary & Secondary) Modulation (0-99) Decay (0-99) Level (0-99) Lows (0-10) Highs (0-10) Predelay (0-10) Panorama (Wide - Narrow) □SHIMMER This algorithm combines SPATIUM and pitch shifting. It adds repeated octaves of the signal or perfect fifths to the reverb sound. When set to a long decay, a beautiful synth-like sound containing harmonics emerges, and when played with the volume pedal, the sound becomes even more fantastical. Control parameters (primary and secondary) Shimmer (0-99) Decay (0-99) Level (0-99) Mode (Ascend or Descend) Highs (0-10) Pitch (Octave or 5th) Panorama (Wide - Narrow) □PLATE This recreates a luxurious yet vintage reverb sound inspired by plates from the 70's. You can enjoy dense and smooth reverb. Control parameters (primary and secondary) Modulation (0-99) Decay (0-99) Level (0-99) Lows (0-10) Highs (0-10) Predelay (0-10) Panorama (Wide - Narrow) □TREMBLE This adds modulation that changes the tremolo signal level to the reverb sound. This tremolo effect is only applied to the reverb sound, and the dry signal remains unchanged. Of all the algorithms, this has the effect of emphasizing the sense of rhythm with the most spacious ambience. Control parameters (primary and secondary) Trem Speed (BPM display) Decay (0-99) Level (0-99) Shape (Sine, Square) Highs (0-10) Trem Depth (0-10) Panorama (Wide - Narrow) Specifications Input impedance: 1M Ohm Output impedance: 1K Ohm DAC/ADC conversion: 24 bits Power supply: 9VDC (center negative) *Power adapter sold separately Current consumption: 110mA Size: 120 x 72 x 55 mm Weight: 371 g
