A PB type pickup with a robust midrange and strong attack. The narrow design of the two pole pieces for each string captures the vibration of the strings, improving the rise of the sound. Also, by changing the height of the pole pieces for each bobbin, the volume difference between the 1st and 2nd strings and the 3rd and 4th strings is minimized. Another major advantage is that there is less loss of sound when mixed with a JB type.
