The RAMSA/WS-HM5064 is a point source speaker that uses a wide-area horn that provides uniform and accurate directivity. The highly rigid box structure cabinet achieves high sound quality and excellent durability. It is ideal as a main speaker for a hall.
■Point source speaker ■38 cm ■Switchable between passive and bi-amp ■1 unit ■Newly developed woofer unit and tweeter (horn driver) Newly designed SCWG (Square Contour Wave Guide) horn Along with the newly developed unit, our proprietary SCWG (Square Contour Wave Guide) horn has been newly designed to match the size of the hall. The SCWG horn also controls the directivity in diagonal directions, creating a sound radiation pattern that is close to rectangular. This provides uniform and accurate directivity. ■Enables detailed sound creation to suit the installation environment Bi-amp/passive switching is possible. The WS-HM5064 is equipped with a horn that is 60° horizontal and 40° vertical, allowing for optimal acoustic design according to the size of the hall. In addition, by using bi-amp drive for the low and high frequency speaker units, detailed sound creation can be achieved to suit the hall and installation environment. ■High-rigidity box structure cabinet achieves high sound quality and excellent durability The cabinet's internal structure has been optimized to suppress cabinet vibration. It reproduces sound quality that is faithful to the original sound, achieving both flat phase characteristics and durability. ■Realizes sound amplification with reduced interference even when multiple point source speakers are installed in series Acoustic simulation software PASD (Panasonic Acoustics Simulation Designer) Our proprietary PASD provides support with simulations and acoustic adjustments that include phase control. It is possible to create a sound environment that reduces interference caused by phase differences that occur when multiple point source speakers are installed in series. *PASD is software that allows for planning of acoustic systems, optimal tuning to suit the space, and centralized management of acoustic measurement data. A WP-DM900 series amplifier is required to use PASD. <Specifications> ■Type 2-way bass reflex type ■Frequency response (-10dB) Low frequency (LOW): 51.5 Hz to 1.5 kHz High frequency (HIGH): 1.5k Hz to 18 kHz ■Directivity angle Horizontal 60° / Vertical 40° Horn rotation possible [1] ■Output sound pressure level (1W/1m) Low frequency (LOW): 97 dB High frequency (HIGH): 108 dB ■Maximum input power (AES / peak) [2] Low frequency (LOW): 500 W / 2000 W High frequency (HIGH): 50 W / 200 W ■Maximum sound pressure level (peak, calculated value) Low frequency (LOW): 130 dB High frequency (HIGH): 131 dB ■Unit used Low frequency (LOW): 38 cm cone type High frequency (HIGH): Compression driver ■Rated impedance Low frequency (LOW): 8 Ω High frequency (HIGH): 8 Ω ■ Driving method Passive, bi-amp switchable ■ Input terminal Connector x 2, parallel connection Recommended plug: NL4FX (Neutrik Inc.) equivalent ■ External dimensions Width 446 mm Height 780 mm Depth 490 mm ■ Weight Approximately 32 kg ■ Operating temperature range -10 ℃ to +50 ℃ ■ Installation Suspension M10 nuts (12 points, top, bottom, rear) ■ Sold separately Flying hardware (shackles) [3] (for hanging up to 3 units) Flying hardware (connecting) [3] Flying hardware (auxiliary) [3] Notes [1] We are not responsible for any accidents or damages caused by installation methods not specified in the instruction manual or without the use of specified parts.
