A digital octave pedal created in collaboration with CopperSounds Pedals and Jack White. The pedal has an impactful look with three Morse code switches and practicality.
■ Effector for guitar
■ Digital octave pedal
■ Jack White collaboration model
■ Octave section
High-performance DSP "Blackfin" is adopted. Produces fast tracking with zero latency and a stable octave sound.
Dry sound (direct sound) and octave sound are output in parallel at the same time. It is also possible to play only the octave sound by using the center switch as a kill switch and stepping on it at the same time as the octave to cut the original sound.
Both octave switches can be switched between momentary and latch, allowing you to play one phrase up octave like Jack White.
■ "KILL" mode
A mode in which the central switch operates as a momentary original sound (direct sound) kill switch.
If you turn on any octave while the direct sound is cut, only the pitch-shifted sound will be output.
■ "AUXILIARY" mode
A mode in which the central switch operates as a momentary FX (effect) loop.
While the switch is pressed, the direct sound is output through the effector connected to the SEND / RETURN terminal.
Again, the octave and direct sounds are parallel, so the octave sound does not go through the FX (effect) loop.
■ Unique "Morse code switch"
A custom-designed switch designed based on the Morse code switch.
Step on with your foot / push with your hand ... Corresponds to any situation.
■ Usage example
Anyone who knows how to play Jack White can easily imagine how to use it. If you like football, remember "Seven Nation Army" from the White Stripes era. You can see how it is used by listening to the sound of one main riff guitar unisoning down the octave, and the sound of the distortion in the intense part hitting the chorus overlapping the octave up. If you like movies, you can easily understand the part of the theme song "Another Way To Die" (Alicia Keys & Jack White) of "007 Skyfall", the crushing fuzz sound and the octave up.
Of course, it's the best weapon for making the sound you're aiming for, and by using it in a temporary phrase like Jack, he said, "If you use an octave fuzz, a single note is good, but it's crushed by chords ..." It can also be a solution to your worries.
■ Power supply: 9V (2.1mm x 5.5mm terminal) / center minus / 250mA or more
* If you try to operate at less than 250mA, only the bypass sound will be heard.
