The DSE-10 medium set of electric guitar strings from the DRAGON SKIN series features DR's proprietary K3 coating, which provides the same string touch and clear sound as non-coated strings. The hexagonal core wire is hand-wound with a nickel plate winding and K3 coating. While providing the same playing feel as non-coated strings, it provides a clearer, more expressive tone by suppressing unnecessary overtones.
