SONY / WF-1000XM4 is a Bluetooth complete wireless earphone that is equipped with the industry's highest class noise canceling function, supports high-quality sound codec LDAC, and allows you to experience high-resolution sound quality. Sony's original packaging uses recycled paper and bamboo and sugar cane eliminates the use of plastics.

-The WF-1000XM4 reduces noise that reaches your ears in a wide band from low to high frequencies, and delivers even more silence than the WF-1000XM3. You can feel more quiet in a noisy environment such as an airplane or a bus, or in an environment where there are many voices such as in the city or in a cafe.
■ Sony's first completely wireless earphone compatible with high resolution
-High resolution sound quality (* 2) even wirelessly due to LDAC support. In addition, with DSEE Extreme (* 3) installed, you can enjoy various compressed sound sources such as CDs, MP3s, and streaming on Android and iPhone with high-resolution (* 4) high-quality sound.
■ Comfortable calls are possible in any environment
-Equipped with voice pickup technology that optimally controls the microphone and sensor and performs advanced voice processing. Beamforming technology and a bone conduction sensor capture both the voice emitted from the mouth and the voice transmitted by the vibration of the skull, and collect your voice accurately and clearly under any noise.
■ High wearing stability and comfortable wearing
・ By utilizing the ear shape data of each country that we have, we have realized a shape design that does not easily interfere with the unevenness of the ear. We have realized a holding method that closely follows the shape of the ear and supports the earphone body with the contact surface inside the ear. In addition, the noise isolation earpiece has holding power in many directions to achieve higher mounting stability and comfortable wearing.

-When noise canceling is ON, the main unit alone can be used for 8 hours, and the attached case can be charged twice for a total of 24 hours (* 5). SONY完全ワイヤレスイヤホン『1000Xシリーズ』の第4世代となるWF-1000XM4。
デザインも前モデルから大幅に変更され、耳の収まりがより良くなった印象。
充電ケースのサイズも非常に小さく改良され、これなら持ち運びしやすいですね。アプリの便利さは前モデル同様。EQはノイキャン、アンビエントモードの調整など細かな設定を行えます。サウンド面では、奥行きを感じられる立体的な音場、クリアな高域ながらも「さ行」が刺さらない、非常に聴きやすい音質です。
EQを調整すれば、低域の効いた迫力あるサウンドも楽しめる、万能型ワイヤレスイヤホンです！

期待値を超える音でした

初めてのワイヤレスイヤフォンですが、音に拘りを持っている以上は高級品しかないと決めてこの商品を購入しました。イヤフォン内部の構造やそこでどんな処理がされているのか技術的な知識もあるので、こんなちいさなスペースで”それ”ができちゃうのに驚きました。低域から広域までクセのない音を作り出していることは高く評価できます。
密閉型のSONYのスタジオモニターも使っていますが、こちらは音を出すスピーカーにあたる部分がイヤフォンに比べて巨大なので良い音が出るのは当たり前ですが、あえて比較するならば、WF-1000XM4は奥行き感、音の滑らかさなどはどうしても劣ります。
しかし、繰り返しますが、ワイヤレスイヤフォンの物理的な制約を考えたら、十分に満足できる音です。
なおノイズキャンセリングについては比較するものを持っていないので評価は控えます。
