SONY完全ワイヤレスイヤホン『1000Xシリーズ』の第4世代となるWF-1000XM4。

デザインも前モデルから大幅に変更され、耳の収まりがより良くなった印象。
充電ケースのサイズも非常に小さく改良され、これなら持ち運びしやすいですね。アプリの便利さは前モデル同様。EQはノイキャン、アンビエントモードの調整など細かな設定を行えます。サウンド面では、奥行きを感じられる立体的な音場、クリアな高域ながらも「さ行」が刺さらない、非常に聴きやすい音質です。

EQを調整すれば、低域の効いた迫力あるサウンドも楽しめる、万能型ワイヤレスイヤホンです！

WF-1000XM4とBeoplay E8 レポート

私は数年前、サウンドにてBeoplay E8 ワイヤレスイヤホンを購入しました。このイヤホンも使いやすく、音質もよい。右イヤホンで音量とオン、オン、オフが簡単。左イヤホンで、外音を出すためのミュートがかる。
最近、SONY WF-1000XM4 BMを購入。音質はさすが世界のSONY ハイレゾ音源で視聴可能とのこと。まだこのハイレゾ音源のアーティストの音は聴いていないのでなんともコメントできませんが、CDや自己録音は最高の音で再現してくれます。
しかし、音楽家にとって、たとえばオケの音やボーカルを聴きながら、声に出して歌うと自動的にイヤホンからの音が遮断してしまいます。これは、会話をするための配慮でしょうが、音楽を追求する人にとっては必要ない機能です。
Beoplay E8の方が音楽家にとっては使いやすいイヤホンでした。
