The Yoso Kai has been changed from the classical slotted head commonly seen on nylon-string guitars to the normal head commonly seen on steel-string guitars. The pickups have also been changed to Seymour Duncan's APH-1 Alnico II Pro?. Based on ESP's early masterpiece, the Torrocco, the Yoso has a semi-acoustic body with a hard maple top, back, and sides. The neck is also hard maple, and the fingerboard, which features Roman numeral inlays, is made of ebony.
